Tom Bodett is an author and a radio anomaly. He lived in Alaska for twenty-five years, where he left a promising career building houses to become a writer, and subsequently, a commentator on All Things Considered. The author of seven books, he has also written for The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and Redbook. His voice has been heard on Saturday Night Live, National Geographic Explorer, and Steven Spielberg’s Animaniacs.
