Crystal King’s debut novel, Feast of Sorrow, tells the story of Marcus Gavius Apicius, the man whose name is on the world’s oldest known cookbook. Set in Ancient Rome, Feast of Sorrow has been long listed by the Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize. King has taught writing, creativity and social media at UMass Boston, Boston University, Mass College of Art, and Harvard Extension School. She also teaches classes on social media for authors at Grub Street. She lives in Boston, MA.
